What's New

We have a lot of plans for the upcoming year on this website. We are currently working on a completely new look and feel for the site so keep

and eye out for that in the immediate future. Just as a reminder, we do have a contribute button that I would like to encourage all to use. Please send us articles that you would like to have added to our newsletter.

Parts Lists

We at your EFV8CA website are working on a 'Parts Exchange' list that will help our hobbiests to purchase new parts that will interchange with our 1932-53 Ford, Lincoln, Mercury Car & Trucks. It is time to share your valuable parts list with our club members. What we would like is your PROVEN list of parts, which should include the Manufactures name (Timkin, Bower, Standard, etc), the Parts Supplier (Napa, Kragen, etc.), the Manufactures Part Number, the Year(s) covered (1932-1953)and the application (Engine, Chassis, Body, Interior, etc.). Please submit your list information to the 'Contribute Form'.

Presidents Corner

Hello from Ohio! Our website committee has added a number of improvements and enhancements over the past few months. We have updated the Judging Form, and the 1932-48 and 1949-53 Judging sheet. Please look them over and if you have a question, ask Chief Judge, Jerry Vincentini. We also reorganized the car codes. This alpha-numeric code specifically designates each year and body style. The listing includes both domestic and Canadian vehicles. We are approaching the 07 driving season. Of course members in the South and Southwest drive their V-8’s year round. Others in the Northwest, Midwest and Eastern parts of the country wait for the weather to break. Speaking of driving, my wife Annette and I will be attending all three of the National Meets as well as the Auburn Motorfest in September. We plan to drive to each meet with the exception of the Temecula gathering in June. Both of us look forward to meeting old friends and getting to know new ones. I personally intend to attend the social gatherings that have been planned and to walk the concourse. Please stop me and say hello. I also encourage you to attend the President’s meeting and ask questions or suggest ideas that you think might improve our Club. Remember when you drive your V-8 you not only enjoy the feeling you get behind the wheel but you provide anyone who happens to see your vehicle a certain excitement that most everyone gets when they see an old car. See you on the road Craig

Pearl Harbor Pics

Thought you might find this photo very interesting -- what quality from 1941. Pearl Harbor Photo found in an old Brownie stored in a foot locker

This photo is from a sailor who was on the USS Quapaw ATF-110. Interesting, a pristine '32' Ford Sedan is in the foreground. It's probably a Japanese plane overhead.
